The regiments of the Hammerers only recruit the most experienced and most skilled warriors of the dwarves. As bodyguards these relentless fighters protect their princes with determination and sense of duty. Like the Hammerers also the oldest among the dwarves are considered with respect. Dwarves who reach retirement age are full of wisdom. These dwarves are referred to as Longbeards. Their reputation is legendary and their prestige extends far beyond the field of their own clan. Such units of Longbeards are an inspiration and incentive, because nobody likes to get mocked by prestigious members of the clan.
