The DAK was a German large formation which was involved in war operations in North Africa. The Afrika Korps fought together with Italian forces in North Africa against British troops. The armored divisions under the command of General Rommel fought from Tunisia over Libya to Egypt. As Anglo-American troops landed in Morocco a war on two fronts started, which initiated the defeat of the German troops.
